For those that purchase a demo/mannequin, how did you get your warranty start date changed to when you purchased, and not when the dealer took the possession of the vehicle.

Unfortunately, this isn't how Ford is doing it. They start the warranty when the dealer puts it in service. It always starts on the day the vehicle is sold/registered
So if you buy a 2 year old New old stock vehicle you still get the full warranty a demo is still considered a new car because it has never been titled
Yep, I complained about this when I bought mine in Feb (June warranty date). I'm still happy I got it vs ordering a '23 due to the overall savings and no deletes. My dealer dropped the ball on the extended service plan and after complaining to them for 6 weeks the general sales manager finally added it and gave it to me free since they bungled it up. Although I think the start date for the extended also begins from the "warranty date". I'll have to go back and look later to confirm. The other issue is that we loose out on the 8 months or so of subscriptions like Bluecruise.
This is correct. My post above is wrong.Although I think the start date for the extended also begins from the "warranty date". I'll have to go back and look later to confirm.
