So, if we take him way too literally, then either:

-150k is two years of production
-150k minus estimated cancellations is two years of production.

If they REALLY were only going to build 15k in the first year, then 150k reservations would be probably 3 years of production, not two.

So, I'm taking this to mean that the 15k number is wrong... mostly because I want it to be wrong because I want my Lightning haha

Darren Palmer has already said 15k is wrong, we just don't know what the actual target is. Could be lower, but I think everyone believes it is higher.

Great Story and the full video was great! I had only seen a snipet before. I had also read peoples comments how he wasn't even driving... this debunks all that! Can't wait to get my hands on my own!

He's much more of a train guy, but he understands that Americans love their cars and the only way to get us off oil is to promote the hell out of EVs.

I do agree he's a train guy too, but his automotive history proves he's a car guy. You can be both.

Besides the 67 Stingray he still owns, he has had several cool cars over his life.
