I'm glad Ford allows for potential buyers a chance to look, feel, and possibly test drive.I agree with everything you wrote, that’s why the XLT would be the sweet spot if not for Ford sabotaging it with the packaging …… but smart on their part.
As far as handling, it’s better than expected taking it around twisties. It stays planted with little to no body roll and comes out of the corner fast as expected. The one pedal driving helps in modulating the throttle?(maybe not throttle?) When going into and out of the corner.
I’m glad people are test driving these before jumping in feet first. It’s a big purchase.
Better than requiring a $5000 nonrefundable deposit on something no one has seen(in person) or driven.
