My Truck Status went from "BUILT" to back to "IN PRODUCTION".

Late last night around 1 am, I checked and was happy to see my truck had moved to BUILT status. When I woke back up around 9am, it still said BUILT. An hour later, it said "IN PRODUCTION" again. After several hours, I spoke with Ford Chat and they said that it is in Flat Rock MI with a chip hold. If this is true, that's a cruel trick they played on me. I was pretty amped up and ready to take delivery by end of week lol.

Is this sort of thing common with Ford? They really need to fix glitches like this. Has anyone else gone thru something like this?

Same thing happened to me! Thought I was imagining things.

Happened to many of us that were hyper-vigilantly stalking our orders. Mine also went from shipped back to in production. Hell, looking now it still says Shipped In Progress and it was at the dealer on the 19th. Take the tracker status with a cup of salt.

Well, don’t cry. I ordered a King Ranch over a year ago. It was moved In production three times. Now, it’s been built, and scheduled for shipment “within a week” for over two months.
My Lightning Lariat SR order came up just before Christmas. It was accepted in one day. Scheduled for the end of February two weeks later, and today, rescheduled for 2/20. It will probably get here before the KR. I was set to buy it and reject the Lightning, but not sure now. I can charge the Lightning each night for about $0.60 at confirmed low electric rates, and under $32 a month. I spend between $625 and $800 per month in gas, depending on my jobs. That savings could well offset my monthly payment.
