Complaining about something besides the adapter reservation process...

Seems Tesla didn't open any of the superchargers that I was hoping they would that would have improved options on the trips I would want to take despite those superchargers being V3. That kinda sucks.

You are saying there are some V3 Tesla chargers not open to Ford drivers? If so, that is disappointing, I assumed all V3 and V4 would be open.

My comment is not rude, nor is your truck not working because you don’t have access to the Tesla network. Ford said spring, it ain’t spring buddy. Maybe relax and enjoy life? You might find it way way more enjoyable

Just got through...when it finally opens in connected services there was a section up top about getting the free adapter. Then when you click on that it takes you to a page with all your information and you have to 'reserve.' That page also crashed on me for 10 minutes until it finally went through.

I just go mine reserved at 6:45AM PST. I had to keep refreshing on connected services for about 45 mins. After I was successful at getting a reservation I did not get a receive date. Instead I did get this message

"Congratulations! Your Fast Charging Adapter is in production.
Your confirmation will be sent to: my email

Demand is very high, but we are working to get your no-cost adapter to you as soon as possible. When available ...."

Hope it doesn't take as long as when I first reserved my lightning back in May of 2021. That took 19 months and an extra 5K to my dealer.

MM has mentioned in numerous threads about the dearth of DCFC in his area. It's not rocket science, if you don't have a place to charge, you can't travel. Your comment was rude, IMO.

The circled one here is V3 and is not open to NACS (from Tesla's map). The icon for NACS open chargers is the one in the top right corner of the image.

His comet wasn't rude at all, nor was mine. I don't know what to tell you my friend but just keep trying...

Because screaming at the clouds is not going to make Ford's website respond any faster... and if you were in that situation where you have no chargers within 150 miles of where you live, maybe you shouldn't have gotten a non-tesla.

Another fail by Ford…release that the charger adapter is available and not have the infrastructure in place to handle demand. Perhaps they should visit Tesla and go to school.
