Why is reserve an adapter not an option on my connected service page? I've had the truck since Oct 2022, but just enrolled in blue oval network yesterday. I have not needed to fast charge in over 8k miles.

@theblunden @Yellow Buddy are your screenshots from the Tesla app? I am not able to search for "charge your non-Tesla" any longer. and my vehicle info disappeared. did your app update recently?

App Version v4.30.5-2528

3 lines on the top right.
scroll down and the tile for charge your other EV is there

And of course the site crashed. I guess it’s my fault for not jumping on social media the minute I woke up today. 🙄

Why do we even need to reserve? Ford has our info, just ship one to every owner.
Or send them to dealers and let us buy them. This “Taylor Swift Tickets” scene is just bad business. If you have them available, sell them. If you don’t, don’t make it a freaking lottery. I was on this site minutes after the announcement came through the forum and I can’t get one still, after consistently trying for over 30’. Think of all the people who don’t even look at the forum. How deep are they going to be in the order process?

Do you have to be enrolled in BlueOval to order adaptor? All I keep getting is “connected services” with no ability to order. Ford should have mailed these adaptors according to purchase dates.
Its happening to everyone right now. Ford site is crashed like due to the traffic from all of us trying over and over.

That's the plan, but they want people to confirm the adapter is wanted and where to send it. It automatically fills all the info in for you so it's a quick process. If only their site kept working. I don't even know if my adapter was successfully reserved. I did it before a lot of other people on here reporting success, but I don't have any email to show for it.

Complaining about something besides the adapter reservation process...

Seems Tesla didn't open any of the superchargers that I was hoping they would that would have improved options on the trips I would want to take despite those superchargers being V3. That kinda sucks.

Finally got in. Had to hit reserve about 100 times before it went through. 4280. Just kept refreshing connected services until I got to the reserve page. Once you get to the reserve page don't refresh the page.

My comment is not rude, nor is your truck not working because you don’t have access to the Tesla network. Ford said spring, it ain’t spring buddy. Maybe relax and enjoy life? You might find it way way more enjoyable 😊
