Any one of them could have been enrolled in the FCTP program after they were received at the dealership and if so would have become "mannequins".

Some trucks were sent specifically as a mannequin as has been stated...and some trucks were ordered and then the order was dropped and then the dealership would likely have put that truck on the FCTP program, and it would then have been a "mannequin" as well (a demo for minimum 60 days before it could be sold).

I ordered my Lightning and took delivery on 6 June 22. The following week the dealership's mannequin arrived and was identical to my truck except for max tow. It eventually timed out and was sold to somebody in the Atlanta area in a dealer swap.

A '23 Mach-E GT arrived at my dealership as stock in July of that year. My salesman asked me if I wanted to trade my '21 Premium ER for it, and I said yes. But because they had started the ball rolling to put that car on the FCTP program, I had to wait the full 60 days to do the trade because it was then a "mannequin" and couldn't be sold. I did get the extra warranty as a result, though (42/42).
I'm pretty sure my Pro is a mannequin.
The dealer took delivery of it 07/22 but I took delivery 01/23 after the dealer first listed it online for sale.
I was told it was held for one of their "special" customers and not used as a demo.
It wasn't driven very much during the 6 month waiting period. (73miles)
When the 6 months ran out, their customer bailed and I got my opportunity to buy.
I purchased it as new, not used. My name is the first on the title. During purchase the dealer never mentioned anything about extending my warranty. I always assumed my 36m warranty runs out on 07/25, but after reading this discussion I'm wondering if maybe I'm eligible for a 6mo warranty extension too?
Is there a place I can call to find out?

The 2122 is most likely a Special Order, dealerships have the option of creating their own codes or let order processing system generate random four character codes. When FORD HQ front loaded the mannequins they issued F001 for the majority with a couple of exceptions.

Also noticed that your sticker shows 03 31 22 as the Thursday windows sticker run date for build week 04/11/2022 this week was the transition from mostly mannequins to a small mix of Special order trucks, @idahospud was one of our earliest builds on the forum that week, also @Scanman57

My window sticker shows Item# 23-F001 O/T B and 005836 03 31 22 in the box below it.
Also my VIN ends in G00297
What does that indicate about my Pro ?

Absolutely a mannequin, what time frame did you buy it?

IIRC and mentioned above the dealer had to hold these vehicles for apx 180 days unless a like kind abandoned special order could be substituted for floor display.

Were you able to take advantage of federal tax credit $7500 when acquired?

My 2022 Lariat Extended Range has the clear lights in the tailgate issue with condensation and them not working.
Sorry for side tracking your thread, these early builds always tweak owners interest whenever the subject comes up.

I wrote a little more details about my purchase in post #31.
I purchased it 01/13/2023 and I also received the tax rebate, but not POS. Ford offered that in 2024 I belive.
Dealer sent me the signed rebate form a week later and I successfully submitted it towards my 2023 tax year.

ImaDummy, didn't read the prior post, SMH........

I think with the very short mileage and that the MSO was still in hand when you took possession, that in service date should have been when you took it, JMHO, consider it a miracle that these issues worked in your favor to be able to still get the $7500 credit, when technically the original first buyer might scammed the system with ease.

As to getting an extension, I don't know if it's applicable in your situation.

There wasn't another first buyer. I'm the FIRST one to register the title.

Now I read that to mean it got those miles showing the vehicle to prospective customers over 6 months, instead of the order maker out bailed out previously, sorry for the confusion.
