2022 XLT ErR here. I have not got the Csp done and I got the Blurcruise 1.4 update today. Too bad my truck is not equipped for it.

They push it to non-equipped trucks but don’t focus on pushing it to equipped trucks? What!?!

Makes no sense. I’m in EAP and dont have e it yet.
And they wonder why I chirp them so much on X. They still don’t seem to want to invest in sorting out their current software. I have to believe marketing is still advocating for keeping new features and updates to new model years.

Put 120 miles on BC1.4 today for the first time. Love the improvement and so far nothing appears to be a regression or worse. My commute is significantly improved by this update! I just got the parking sensor CSP done at the dealer Monday. Activated 1.4 with Forscan. Haven't gotten the OTA yet. Just got the door module OTA today though.
  • ZERO disengagements or reverting to hand steering!

  • Every spot where it used to revert to hand steering is gone. Continuous hands free. There were many many spots, mainly on certain curves. I knew where they all are by now, and guarded the wheel through them. All are gone and it handles the curve just fine at 75mph.

  • Lane changing worked very nicely. Use the momentary tap on the turn signal. It will start with preparing to change lanes. It will wait for the lane to clear if needed. IDK if there is timeout on that. Then it will smoothly change lanes and cancel the turn signal. It had no issue slowing down to match the speed in the new lane.
  • Lane change is not for wild competitive traffic. If you're trying to squeeze into a little gap, you shouldn't expect any ADAS to be KITT or mad max.

  • It is still "less confident" in the dark I think. Put another way, lane centering is more solid during the day than in the dark. This was the case before too. But the overall confidence and accuracy in both day and night is improved.

  • Complicated construction zones are still better handled by hand. This was the case before, it's still the case today, and it was still the case in my old Tesla. The construction lane shifts and narrowing on the beltway are harrowing even by hand. I point this out only to be clear that it is not perfect in ridiculous conditions and nobody should expect any ADAS to be.
More to follow after more use this week. Will also see if it is any better in less-than-perfect weather this week to the extent it can when the cameras aren't wet.

I got the windows update last night and tonight the truck is installing the Bluecruise 1.4 update. I don’t think I’ve ever had back to back updates since I’ve owned the truck. 22 Lariat ER Max tow. I am not part of the early access program.

My disappointment is measurable as well. Saw the same update, had that glimmer of hope, ended in disappointment.

Edit: Getting the BC 1.4 update on 4/11!!! Yay! Got the screen for the overnight update.

I got the update last evening as I pulled into my driveway. Mine is a 2022 ER. I tried it out last night and was impressed with the smoothness of the lane changes. Our Lincoln Nautilus has 1.2 and is not as smooth as this version.
I honestly thought us early adopters were going to be left out of this update after being promised ‘by the end of the year’ every year.
