He did make it, 250 miles at 70mph, drive around to find out how far under zero he could go, came back to charger at 258, then went out for two more miles and came up 50 yards short, 10 miles after 0 percent remaining.

I hope he’s got a video of that charging session from ‘Absolute Zero’ to the 90% he was going for. That’ll be good early charging information.
