Kyle is definitely infatuated with the R1T. 🤣
FWIW Kyle can be a bit annoying at times and he drives way, way more aggressive than I ever would drive. Kyle emphasizes sport more than I do, whereas I prefer a softer ride and more utility. I think Alex or Tom Molog is more my style

Funny, as far as sporty driving, I always thought Kyle took it a bit too easy. Throttle house does a much better job pushing cars in performance settings.

Its all relative..

I admit it, I drive like an old man even though I'm in my 40s. I got all the performance angst out of a younger me ripping 100mph on CBR1000 motorcycles. Somehow I managed NOT to kill myself on one of those things...

Nowdays, I'm just happy to cruise to my destination

Almost exactly like you!

In my late 50's and had 24 years of loyalty with BMW and lived thru the sporty rides and excellent road manners.

When I got my PHEV, it changed my entire style of driving to regain energy:
  • I now coast a lot more.
  • Brake softly and steady.
  • Accelerate like an old man.
  • Use the paddle shifters to almost 1 pedal drive.
  • Drive downhill and keep looking at the GOM for how many more miles I have regained.

Nope, not their yet, I can drive like that sometimes, but seem to always hit a mex acceleration pull (if not many) every time I take our Mach-e out.

I tried driving my Shelby like this to minimize fuel usage and made it 1 day, it was very painful.

I'm pretty sure it's illegal to drive a GT350 like that :D
I got honked at by a minivan for going too slow. I hated it. Only gained 1 mpg too.

ROTFL!

I had someone pull up along side me in a Japanese "sports" car (I forget what kind, probably a CRX or similar). It had Japanese racing stickers all over it. I was driving my Minivan.

Minivan.

Japanese Minivan.

Right-Hand Drive Japanese Minivan.

Which is a Mitsubishi Delica L400 2.8L Intercooled Turbo Diesel.

He was giving me the stink-eye because I had a true Japanese RHD vehicle, and he had this contemporary thing with stickers on it. Kept driving aggressively around me. So, given the big turbodiesel, I just blew his doors off, and left him in the dust. Heh. I dusted him in a minivan.

Nice looking minivan, but as an American I have to laugh at 2.8 being called a "big" motor.

Now this is a big diesel!

It isn't - but it was bigger and a lot more powerful than his!
(And I was driving it here in the US, where they were very rare until recently).
