Platinum Pricing - anyone negotiate a strong deal?

I have a Pro on order since 8/14 but haven't received a build date. Instead last week I got a supply issue email from ford. When I forwarded to my dealer they asked if I'd consider an insane deal on a platinum they had.

Apparently there is 7750 (some is trade assist)in rebates if on a lease and .05% interest which makes for a pretty good deal. They offered to discount the platinum 2700 but was hoping for closer to 5k to help make up some of the tax credit I would lose. Had I received a build date on my Pro I'd probably not even entertain but the money,residual and rebates make this appealing.

If you go to some car sites you will find a few Platinums for thousands of dollars off.

I can't name the sites on the Forum I suspect, but I got a hold on one for 5,800 off a couple of weeks ago. The 36 month 1.9% financing was locked in and if rates are lowered my rate will be lowered.

There's a dealer near me with 3k to 6k off depending on trims on lot. Prices are definitely below msrp. Not to seem greedy, but I feel like I'll be waiting til dec/jan for a better deal and i still really want a sneak peak at the T3

These prices are all about $30K too high. This time next year you'll have your pick of $50K-$70K new ones.

Prices are really coming down. I have my eye on a few. No new 2023 Platinum advertised within a 100 miles of me has sold for more than month. If I see movement or another round of discounts I'm pulling the trigger.

I know that I can because my wife tells me I have her permission to be the man of the house.

But yeah sounds like a good idea, if someone is in the market for a Platinum, there's never been a getter time to get one.

In PA you do have a few dealerships with deep discounts. I did pay 2K more to buy from my local dealer. Don't really like to pay a bit more but I think it best for this new technology. Plus, between the price drop, 7,500 incentive and a few thousand additional reduced by the dealership and I am on top of the world tonight.
