Your truck was actually blended (constructed on main line 10/20/2023), certified built on 11/2 when it passed QC, shipped 11/9 and arrived at your dealer 11/15.

So my build date (door jamb info) says 8/23. Was crossing my fingers that I would have another one this morning but I did not. Does anyone know what the 4.2.1.1 update does exactly. I was wondering if its just priming us to get updates in general.

I have a MY23 with 2/23 blend date. Have been in a similar path to Jim Lewis (same update order with similar time gaps just 6 months later as I bought the truck 6 months later). Last update was on 2/1/24 to power up 6.2.0.

6.3 and 6.4 is up next for me hopefully.

Might be a YMMV issue. My build date was 02/23, but my truck wasn't complete until 04/23 because of the Dearborn battery fire. Took delivery 5/5/23. Got Power Up 4.2.1.1 on 6/12/23, 4.2.1.2 on 6/27, 4.2.2.2 on 7/19, 4.2.3.1 on 7/28, then no updates until the end of October when I got the Digital Owner's Manual and Power Up updates 6.1, 6.2, and 6.3. Got revised 6.2 on ~12/1 (didn't show up as a FordPass message). And 6.4 just today.

Well after my first ever update, the vehicle shows reduced power available...first time Ive seen that too..

This happened to me when I had my first update. A slew of errors and warning popped up and I had a near heart attack. I turned it off, left it overnight and all was good in the morning. No problems ever since.

RE: Power Up 4.2.1.1

Because I turned off my auto updates, I only received the "Update Pending" notice yesterday, 8-Feb-2024. (I don't need a heart attack from an error messages saying the "your truck doesn't work anymore - please take it to the dealer for 9 or 10 months").

So, before I "improve" the vehicle by making it worse, does anyone know what this update actually does and, more importantly, what it screws up? Do we need it? The truck works just fine right now (2023 Lariat built Aug 2023).
