Pro Trailer Hitch Assist Not Available

I have never towed so this may be user error but was hoping someone could help me figure out what is going on with my Pro Trailer Hitch Assist.

I put my hitch on and got in front of the boat I am trying to hitch but when I hit the pro trailer hitch assist button it says it is not available and to refer to the owners manual. I looked at the manual and can’t find any reason it is not working. Here is a video of what I am doing. Any advice would help. Thanks.

Wondering if the exterior walls of the garage are the issue?

Manually backup to the trailer hitch, pull the load out of the garage and then disconnect and retry using the Pro Trailer Hitch assist.

I might give that a try but also kind of defeats the purpose. But I don’t think it’s that. Just my gut instinct because after I hit the pro trailer button this immediately comes up and doesn’t even try to initialize or anything. I also hope it would give me some sort of error about this or suggestion.

lol. Yes I have the knob. I have a video that shows more but I can’t get it to upload. I have a 2023 extended range Lariat.

If the former owner didn't leave the manuals & quick guides on how to use the system, (that's where the stickers were tucked in my 2022 Lightning) then you should be able to get more stickers from the parts department at your dealer.
