I drove a 2019 RAM 1500 for work for a couple years (granted it was not a base model, but also not a higher trim, it had Android Auto and a larger touchscreen).
Most of the OP's points/things he liked about the RAM were not in my trim, so I have a different viewpoint.
I would take the Lightning Pro all day over it that 2019 RAM I drove. I think the power steering in the RAM felt slightly more responsive, other than that there's not a thing I miss compared to the Lightning. The shifter in the F-150 doesnt bother me as much as it seems to bother everyone else, I like to rest my hand on it when I drive.
