Received A2Z NACS to CCS adapter

I just received an A2Z adapter which I order several weeks ago. But after spending 2 hrs. trying several Tesla stations at 4 different locations near me all I get "failed due to charge station fault".

My wife owns also own an older Tesla S and we have never had a problem charging. I have registered the Lighting on the Tesla App, told the app that I had an adapter and registered my Lighting on the Tesla App. but to no avail. Yes, I did lock the charging cable to the adapter and everything seems to lock into place but very frustrating!!!!! Either I am doing something wrong or the A2Z adapter is bad? Any ideas?

I just ordered on the Ford Pass app. After completing there was a message that said make sure automatic updates are turned on so there must be a download needed to connect to Tesla chargers?

Make sure it’s a v3 station that Tesla has enabled for the adapter. Also make sure you push the adapter on the charger hard and slide the lock underneath.
If you don’t have plug and charge enabled, enable it through the Tesla app.

@A2ZEV do you have any updates on shipping times? I ordered on March 23rd. Hoping to have it by April 19th.

Hi Pioneer74,

I read that when you receive this error you could try initiating the charge using the Tesla app and that should initiate the charge. The Ford update for Tesla charging is supposed to fix this issue.

Initiated via plug and play via Ford app.

I would try doing it from the Tesla app. That’s how I did it the first time.

Will try that. The only way I see to initiate on the Tesla App is to identify the location of the chargers and press CHARGE HERE ?
