I am adding the Retrax Pro XR with T-Slot to my short bed 2021. Looking for info on which ladder racks are best and don't make noise at highway speeds.

I used flare nuts drilled into the plastic bedrail covers. At the time I was able to buy 5’ square bars. I’m planning on moving the bar setup over when I purchase a new truckNice setup there. How did you add t-slot after the fact? Also see the square bars from Thule and all the specs today say the only Thule bar long enough is a silver only ProBar?
None at all! But I also went in knowing that this cover is not waterproof! Which I’m fine with. It’s more about keeping road grime off my skisThis is exactly the type of thing I am looking to do. Any regrets on the Retrax at all?

FWIW I bought it for $1,699 from tonneaucovers.com and comes with lifetime warranty. And with Klarna I bought for 0% interest over 18 months. (I only use affirm and similar things when it’s free money so helps me smooth out purchases like this)Hi desertlivin.
That is the very cover I had been eyeing! Then, I found I could order it through Ford along with my Truck directly and save ~$375 using my X-Plan. Even w/o X-Plan, the $1695 Ford price is still $234 lower than the $1929 MSRP of the Retrax - for the same cover!
The Ford Retractable Cover is a Ford-badged Embark LS cover. I am almost certain that this is a re-branded Retrax ProXR. Below are the Ford Accessories List, the model for the 2021 F-150, and a related article from Ranger 5G.com Forum showing they are the same cover. This is indirect proof but is easily corroborated by looking at photos of the Embark LS on Ford's web site and the Retrax Pro XR. Indistinguishable! Pretty compelling, to me anyway. It's why I ordered the Ford cover, sight unseen.
Take a look and best of luck!

I paid $1829 for s pro MX, but that was installed.FWIW I bought it for $1,699 from tonneaucovers.com and comes with lifetime warranty. And with Klarna I bought for 0% interest over 18 months. (I only use affirm and similar things when it’s free money so helps me smooth out purchases like this)

I ordered the Retrax Pro XR for my short bed AutoAnyting for $1,736 and they give a 1 year lowest price guarantee. Free Shipping and of course Retrax has lifetime product warranty. That said today Auto Accessories Garage came back to me with a price of $1,649.29. Since I already ordered it i will request the $86 difference from AutoAnyting and that is the lowest price I have seen anywhere. I will put the money toward a ladder rack... Now have to figure which ladder rack will fit the T-slot on the Retrax Pro XR retractable cover.
I ordered my cover from stage3motorsports and received it in roughly 5-7 days.Did you get any order update? Ordered weeks ago and nothing. Ordered direct from retrax
Not yet, only ordered this weekend... was told 3 weeks.I ordered my cover from stage3motorsports and received it in roughly 5-7 days.
My Pro MX only has water around the tailgate. I am install a tailgate seal this weekend to try and stop it.For those that have the ProXR how is it with water proofing? Any water leaking into the bed?
I have a Pro MX and have not notice any noise when driving, but then I do use the Noise Abatement System (B&O Unleashed) fairly loud. It is pretty tight. For anyone who has experience with RetraxPro XR on current or previous vehicle...any rattle or other noise while just driving around?
I have noticed any noises at all. Water proof? Its been snowing here, but the few times I have ran it thru the car wash no problems. On there web site they claim that they are not water proof. They have drain hoses in the cannister up front so it appears that you will see some moisture. For anyone who has experience with RetraxPro XR on current or previous vehicle...any rattle or other noise while just driving around?
