Startup/shutdown sound on Platinum

Try a Sync restart if you haven't already. With the truck running, press and hold the volume down and the skip right buttons on the steering wheel simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the screen restarts. That will restart the Sync and hopefully clear its brains.

done that, also disconnected the battery for 20 mins

I think you've done all you can on this one. Your truck is still under warranty so maybe a dealer visit would be next.

The startup sounds that are supposed to be playing every time are not playing. is the issue

The sounds in the video you posted are only active if your seatbelt is unbuckled. If your seatbelt is buckled when starting and the truck makes no sounds that is what it's supposed to do.

If a buzzer sounds behind the instrument panel on startup there is an issue.

I have the same sound at startup. Car just had several updates at the dealership including the front parking sensor thing so it is recall free. It is 2022 EV blue certified . Got delivered yesterday and noticed the sound.

I didn't have my seatbelt on so could be the reason?

The sounds in the video you posted are only active if your seatbelt is unbuckled. If your seatbelt is buckled when starting and the truck makes no sounds that is what it's supposed to do.

If a buzzer sounds behind the instrument panel on startup there is an issue.

buckled or unbuckled doesn't play. only the old school sounds

yes they all play them. Mine doesn't at all except every once in a while

What sound? There are two possible sounds. Nice sounds and old school buzzer sounds.

Which speaker isn't working? If it's a door speaker you can try reseating the wiring harness. Or you can just take it to the dealership and let them worry about it.

taking back to the dealer this week, when I do the speaker test it doesn't list all 18 speakers, and the sounds on some of them are so low, I can't hear them at all. I bet this is the issue.

At some point the Platinum was decontented to fewer speakers. I don't recall if it was 2023 or 2024. Probably worth investigating before taking the truck to the dealership.

24 went down to 12 speakers from the 18 on the 23 is to my understanding.

That's telling you your seatbelt is unbuckled. It's kind of dumb because it's not clear at all that is what the noises mean.

I removed the noises with Forscan when I discovered someone had figured out how to do it.
