SWAP B&O (non unleashed) subwoofer with Kicker Hideaway 10” powered sub?

I’ve been through a a lot of threads before posting this and sorry if this has already been answered. I’d like to swap the non-unloaded B&O subwoofer with a Kicker Hideaway 10” sub. Is this a straight plug n play when swapping for B&O subwoofer or is new wiring required? Having trouble finding a clear answer to this. Thanks!

appreciate the tip. I’ve actually read the entire thread lol. What is unclear to me is whether swapping the unit will require a more involved install—it seemed to me on that thread it was discussing adding the unit as an additional sub.

Yes, this is a common setup but requires a few components to make it happen.

First, the HS10 + Bass Knob
HS10 on Amazon
Bass Knob on Amazon

Second, the bass roll-off needs to be fixed/corrected, so you need this interface
B&O Bass Roll-Off Fix Interface

Third, power + ground to the battery, do not use the cab. Here is a kit
8-Gauge Power and Ground

Fourth, when the factory sub is removed, you need to cover the hole
Subwoofer Block Off Plate

Last, enjoy the upgrade

The HS10 comes with the bass knob, so you shouldn't need to buy that separately. It also has all the wiring including power, so you may not need a wiring kit depending on how you run the wires. I suggest you read over the thread below.
