Tailgate won’t come down. Any suggestions

I am waiting to get my rear lightbar fixed as many of you are. It is full of condensation and the light is no longer working on the right side of the bar. Today, though, the tailgate has ceased opening. I have tried pushing the button on the tailgate itself, the button inside the cab, and the key fob and I am getting the three beeps you get when you try to open it and something is wrong. Now, though, there is another beep under this beep. I’m not sure what this is, but would appreciate any knowledge you might have for getting the tailgate to open. (I am scheduled to go to the dealer on October 24 for the lightbar repair.

I think there is a way to disable the auto open/close and make the tailgate manual (in settings ). Perhaps doing that will allow you to at least open the tailgate.
