I think the EV revolution is going to take a huge hit with what has happened, between big oil money and 2/3's of the MAGA base being coal rolling EV haters.

If I recall my civics lessons, we have a Representative Democracy.

The house sets the tone on tax law, then senate concurs or they meditate a compromise
The POTUS signs or vetoes the proposed law.
The congress has override powers when the will is present in congress.

Nice try, but it's a whole new ball game and most likely big changes are on the way that will negate what we have had previously.
