Thanks for the feedback. Asking this front desk person, they didn’t seem to care who used the spaces, so long as you were actively charging. They said they hadn’t heard about any upset Tesla drivers complaining about non-Tesla usage, but of course said “ya never know on a busy weekend” (which this isn’t).

I’ll take my chances and hope I don’t ruffle any feathers.

If anyone has ruffled feathers over which EVs can charge there this weekend, they're a turkey.

Seems like illegal tying arrangement to me. If you are selling charging or featuring it as a perk of your hotel or business, making it conditional on buying a tesla is tying the two products together in furtherance of tesla's market dominance. Which is illegal.

The property owner's policy should be respected and it won't stop the vandals. A whole new can of worms opens if you consider a PHEV charging there. Is a PHEV an EV? Government policy thinks it is.

Heh, no complaining about the new phenomenon when the Electrify America charger is charging a Tesla through a CCS adapter, either. Opening up the American SuC network with CCS cables or Tesla plug to CCS adapters should move from Elon time to 'now' time. Tesla could be the OPEC of charging.

While using the TeslaTap 80 amp adaptor I tape a couple signs on the inside of my windows. On the signs is my phone number and short statement saying, "TEXT OR CALL IF ANY INSUES." I also stopped in to the front desk, no problem. They even had a discount at their restaurant while using the FREE Destination Station.
The motel had both (1) Super Charger Station and (4) Destination Stations.
