Yeah, I think that's exactly what it is. I had these tires on my old truck and nevery noticed it but that truck was a 2500 with a leveling kit so it was a bit taller. These are definitely living up to this feature:

awesome, great that they offer them in that size, I have the Nitto recons P275/65/20 and they are really good but when they wear down I might go with these given that they are EV specific (maybe quieter and more efficent) and still light...42lbsJust mounted the Open Country AT III EV, 275/65/R20, in 116H (not the E rated tire).
Running them at the factory PSI of 36, per Toyo's input.
Have to say, 50 miles or so in, and they are super quiet with no noticeable difference in handling or ride comfort. And they look great. So far so good.
Will see what the range impact winds up being, 800 mile road trip next month.
