One odd thing about the ‘21 is there are no 12vdc power points (aka cigarette lighter) power points in the front any more - at least on the Platinum interior.

I have a wireless trailer camera that I will still use (since I like it on all the time, not like the truck camera system). For now, I am plugging it into the 12vdc power point in the rear of the center console and using an extension.

But, I would Like a cleaner solution. Anyone looked into mods tying into the power in the cab yet?

Thanks!

My KR has a 12vdc to the right of the center screen over the 400 watt 110.

I remember seeing what I thought was pre-production trucks that showed a fuse there instead of a 12V DC plug. So I panicked and thought how this would suck if their USB-A (next to the USB-C) is not a fast charge, because we often have 2 phones up front. I planned to use a dual fast-charge 12V like I currently am.

Then EVERY truck I had seen take delivery or have a walkthrough, had the 12V DC plug. So I am very surprised that some don't.

Were these trucks very early builds that dealers still sold? Also, when there is no plug in the center stack, is there one *inside* the center console? My '17 has that and I feed the charger wires through the notches provided in the lid, so I don't have things hanging off my center stack. Maybe that is an option?

Interesting. Mine is the breaker reset as well. I have a Platinum Powerboost with the 7.2kW Pro Power.
So weird!! I really was worried until the first customers picked up and all interior shots have been the 12V plug. Like this one from @currybob on his king ranch with 7.2kW propower. You can see the "12V" label on the flip cap:

Now we need to figure out why some would have the fuse there instead....

Can you guys share pics, and possibly the date built?

That is not CurryBob's that is mine. It is a 3.5 eco boost.

Doesn't look like it has enough buttons on top of the screen to have a generator. Top left button is for generator

Ok now I'm panicking! I just watch a video walkthrough of a hybrid and it definitely had the 120V fuse instead of 12V plug on center stack. I could not see inside the console but I still saw a notch on the lid, suggesting cords can plug inside and come out of the console.

Is there still a 12V plug inside the console/arm rest??

What is inside there? I assume they notched the lid for a reason. Is it at least another USB-C and USB-A? That just seems CRAZY to not have a simple 12V plug just because its a hybrid?

Oh! I didn't recognize the center console innards...

Ok well this is very sad news. Looks like for my purposes I'll have to use the 2 USB-C's and just pray to the Ford gods that they support fast charging. I also never liked the ones on the center stack because they try to connect with data to my phone and I only want to charge. This is a really annoying change specific to the hybrid...

For the original poster, it does seem the only options are the provided USB ports then, or that 120V. The 120V I believe will turn on the 400W inverter though if it detects the light load (which I think is a step-up from 12V battery then you are stepping down to 5V USB, very inefficient) or costs the 7.2kW generator if it detects >400W load.
