I just want to know why it takes 15 days to move a vehicle 600miles??? The equivalent to an 11 hour drive. @Ford Motor Company

While I’d like to think the “declined activation” was a step in the right direction…mine was declined (again) over a week ago and still no truck

Only a few more days.
And I'm guess most of us don't "need" the truck right now.
I literally don't have a vehicle bit I can get by till next week without much inconvenience

Yeah, I’ve lost hope in the delivery windows…I think this is the 5th or 6th time it’s changed.
You aren’t wrong, I don‘t “need” this vehicle. I’ll admit to my first world “problem”. I intend to have my car sold very soon, so it may become more urgent, but I have other options in the meantime while I wait.

I am hopeful that it falls within the current delivery window of 8/2 - 8/8 (it was pushed back 2 days about a week ago) but that could change at any time. Like many of us, this is not a need, it is just a want. I will have a 2018 F150 Lariat sitting right next to the Lightning in my garage.

They didn't happen to have a rapid red pro on the truck also that was, let's say, headed up the hill. About a week ago I saw a lightning up in angels camp that was from Tom hillier. Good to see they are getting some love. I think ford is kind of shitting the bed when big dealers get 10 in before the small dealers get a single customer order. Those small town dealers are classic American made and keep people coming back In rural areas across america. if those dealers didn't exist for service I would not be pro ford. At this point toyota is more American made than Ford. If they put a toyota dealer by me and no ford dealer, I would not be buying ford. At least make it a little even and get all dealers a few trucks before you show your love for the big dealers.
Sorry. Jealousy got the best of me and started this rant. I purchased mountain-bikes parts from Europe that cost about $15 dollars to ship to CA. From Spain and Belgium. They tracked them the whole way and got here in about a week. Ford can't give you a actual delivery date on a $90k truck, not my bargain pro, but they tracked with perfect accuracy across the Atlantic and the United States of America and delivered withing an hour of said week old delivery time, a $23 mountain-bike torque wrench. As Oprah says, "when you know better, do better". Come on ford! You know better, get me my truck! Please
End second rant.
Today is the day boys, girls, and non-binaries. Today, some more of us will get our trucks. I have hope. That's all I can have since I can't have my truck.
I just figured it's the weekend so we all have some extra time to read while we drink our morning drink of choice.
