I left a message for the salesperson but haven’t head back. I’m going camping at Pt Reyes tomorrow, was hoping to get the truck by then but looks like it will have to wait until Wednesday. But I’m glad it seems to be closer to being in my hands.

There are so many people in this forum who placed orders early and are still waiting for their truck to be shipped. It really does seem sort of arbitrary how things went - @gorwell and I ordered same dealer, same wave, same model, similar config, yet he got moved to a later build week and then moved to an earlier delivery schedule…just seems like our trucks would have been built and shipped as close together as possible for maximizing logistics (in the end they kind of were, but I don’t think that was by Ford’s plan). And I think of @IdeaOfTheDayCom who went to the Ford event, got featured as a driver in the opening video and even so got his build week pushed back to August! So it’s not lost on me that I am lucky to have only had to wait until now for the delivery. But it’s hard to have it so close but still have to wait…

I still think the dealer has a lot more to do with the eventual delivery date than they should.

I know for sure that I was the 2nd person to convert a reservation to an order at my dealer. I also know for sure that the first batch of trucks to arrive coincidentally were sold above list as “cancelled” orders. It seems pretty obvious that they gave a bunch of fake orders a better priority so they can get them in stock while the potential prices would be at their maximum.

I‘m still waiting. My build week is 8/8. I hope it arrives soon, but wouldn’t be surprised if they find some way to mess it up.

Well. Today is day 10 after arrival at Vegas, some have been waiting longer. Second to last day of delivery window. Friday my dealer got 2 customer ordered broncos in but not my lightning, must have come from a different railyard, or logistics are just that bad. Today is the day. If not, then tomorrow. Or Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday......... Good luck to the dwindling number of long-term parking members.

If mine arrives today, my dealer cant Safety it until tomorrow anyway & I work tomorrow so, earliest I can hope for is tomorrow afternoon when I get off work.

Also, mine arrived in Las Vegas 17 days ago...

I have to assume it showed up for some reasonsl, don't think it would be arbitrary.

Talked to Scott, he said yes, if it has a stock I’d then they received it…which they did on Saturday but it wasn’t inspected yet or detailed so the earliest I could have picked it up was Tuesday anyway even if I wasn’t camping. So now I’ll just sit by the campfire, have a glass of wine and imagine myself driving around in my new truck for a couple of days Hopefully yours comes in today or tomorrow.

This is where I stand… I think the reserve date may Be 5/19, but I do know I reserved within minutes of the announcement. I just don’t remember the date.

All right. I have the solution to all our problems delivery related. Ford did the demo of a lightning pulling the railcar full of lightnings so this should work. Put 5 lightnings on a transport trailer and 1 pulling it. 3 extended range a 3 standard. Rotate the lightnings when they are almost out of juice. Let's say 125 miles per extended range and 75 per standard. That gives us 600 miles of range. Maybe one stop at an electrify America with 6 stations for about an hour for a meal and recharge, for the longer trips. 5 lightnings show up almost full charge and 1 takes a little longer to PDI or whatever to reach 100%. All trucks show up with under 200 miles on the odometer and we all get our trucks tomorrow

Like you, the last day of my delivery window estimate is tomorrow. I am hopeful, but not holding my breath.

I was able to drive a Lightning for the first time today. It was a Lightning Pro. Very nice! It was everything that I thought it would be - Solid, comfortable, and very quick. Also notable were the very quiet electric motors. It can be super stealthy.

Based on my luck, my dealer will get an additional three more shipments this week and mine won't be one them. Dealer did confirm they got 3 shipments last week.

Last week I had a great deal of confidence that I would see my Lightning within the estimated delivery window. When I checked this morning I was happy to see that my delivery window was not pushed back. It gives me hope that today just may be the day.

It does concern me that my dealership is small. They don't seem to be getting as much love from the delivery trucks as the big Ford dealerships.
