@Avocadodude

Spotted! Call them and tell them to keep peoples hand off it. People were leaning on it pushing on the charger port etc. My delivery to La Mesa Ford is July 5-11.

You took a better picture of it than I did 😂. It is filthy and I was asking why there’s so many hand prints 🤣. Someone came out while I was there checking it out and tried to open passenger side (fake)charging cover. I was ready to take it home dirty.
There’s a red one there too (spray in bed liner, but I didn’t pay attention to trim).

Finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel. My truck was ”misloaded“ meaning it wasn’t on the railcar it was supposed to be on. Ford kept telling me it was on the 6/10 Mira Loma train but for some reason it wasn’t being unloaded. Now they have tracked it down and it just left Rolla, CO (Denver area) and my delivery window shifted from 6/24-6/30 to 6/30-7/6. I am not sure how long it takes to get down to Mira Loma from Colorado, but I am hoping it moves quickly! Would love to have the truck for the 4th!

Well at least you know where it’s at. Nothing is quick in this adventure.

The train ride has come to an end. I finally took delivery. Sadly (except for fuel prices) parted ways with my 2011.

Not going to lie, I was a little unnerved taking delivery even after test drive. Getting rid of a great truck for the unknown. The Ecoboost was unknown when I purchased it too. That uneasiness subsided on the drive home.

I’ll recap the trip and timelines since I kind of lost track when it stalled and I decided to leave the internet land for a week.

Short version, truck is awesome and worth the wait. Old and new below
