Train ride to SoCal

Does anyone know if recent So Cal rail shipments are routing thru NorCal: NE, CO, UT, Sacramento/SF or is it going to SoCal thru KS, NM, NV ?

If they are going through UP, it'll go through NB, CO, NV, and then into Mira Loma.....I think I might be missing Utah and another state somewhere.

Yes, it's a UP rail.

Do they all end up in Mira Loma if my dealer is in Orange County ?

Yes, but I think compared to SD they get out of that yard fairly quickly. With my ICE it was out by day 3.

Yeah, I believe that it’s unless City of Industry also has a drop off point.

If "Industry" is actually Mira Loma, then the rail tracker said expected date is: 7/18 (tomorrow).

Could that be true since my delivery range is 7/22 - 7/28 ???

Mine arrives at industry (which is Mira Loma) today. What is your rail car? Mine is TTGX695477. Hoping for a quick unload. Mine is going to OC as well.

I’m in the middle on the central coast. I believe my railcar goes to Benicia in the Bay Area and then gets trucked down to to Paso Robles. Does anybody know if that’s the same rail line as Mira Loma or do they split at some point?
Mine was scheduled for arrival industry today, but it looks like it’s been delayed by one day until tomorrow. I leave on Wednesday for my road trip, so I will not be getting the truck in time. My salesman did assure me that he will park the truck in the back lot so it’s not in the showroom or out on display. He won’t be allowing anybody to be poking around the truck. He said he would keep the keys personally so it doesn’t get taken out for any drives and will be ready for me when I return.

No but I was literally just searching the forum to see if there is a way to determine whether the rail car has been unloaded.

I don’t believe it is affecting UP. My rail car just arrived at Benicia this morning… (assuming they take the same route to SoCal across the country).
Then shortly there after The trace said it was released and unloaded.

No. I don’t believe it is. The only embargo I have seen was for BNSF. You can call the UP number and they will give you a status if you have a rail car number.
Here is how:
Union Pacific
1. Call UP at 1 800 877-5123 1 800 877-5123
2. Follow phone prompts for Trace
3. Say the railcar number complete and clearly. Example CN123456 all together
4. Listen for your update

First word will be “loaded” or “empty” when it gives you your update. Good luck!
