Trip log mileage errors

So my truck has been making some fairly major errors in figuring the mileages shown on my trip logs. These errors are also represented in the FordPass app. For example if I add up all the trip log mileage for my truck, which includes all the miles driven except for the 32 that were on it at the time of delivery, I get 237.2 miles. But the odometer on the truck is showing 199 miles. Right! I hear you... that's impossible. I noted that a typical 13 mile trip got recorded as 59.8 mile trip yesterday morning. Also incidentally the FordPass app is a real pain and won't let me change or update certain functionalities like charge settings and even account preferences like unit of measure. Is this why a bunch of my build week guys trucks are sitting in chip hold @Ford Motor Company?

There is a known bug in the trip log that doesn't always clear the mileage from the previous trip. Odometer is not impacted and accurate

Thanks. I experienced it again this morning and my trip log computer did start with the existing mileage from the previous day. Puts my mind at ease a bit. Come on software patch.

Mach-Es have had this issue since they came out. I wouldn't bet on a date for a fix.

My truck is running into this error almost 100% of the time the past 2 weeks, whereas the first month it was just occasional. Kind of (more than kind of) annoying.

This has been an issue with my truck since getting it back from the dealership two weeks ago. My previous trip information does not clear and gets added to my current trip.

How many years has Ford have electronics controlling the mileage and trips? Now for some reason, the electric vehicles they cannot figure out how to properly program this? This is kind of basic programming.
