Is there an easy way to show the battery forecasted estimate based on the route? With my tesla it takes one tap to see the forecasted estimate based on the route. The lightning takes about three taps based on the way I’m doing it now and it’s not very intuitive on how to show it as well.

I know of no shortcuts, I pull up the named route plan, then look at the details for each waypoint.

Bummer. It’s not very user friendly especially while trying to do it driving at high speed on the freeway. Wish it was either always displayed or one tap at the most.

On my road trips, I only plugged in my next destination. I was able to see my distance to the charger and watch my range creep to decide if I needed to slow down.

Does the estimated state of charge at arrival always stay displayed for you? For me it only shows when the route overview is shown and I click details I believe. Once it goes to turn by turn mode I don't see the percentage battery at arrival anymore. If it's not too much to ask maybe you can get a screen shot and let me know how you did it?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that it showed a percentage. I do the math in my head while driving. Or instance, if I have 200 miles of range and it shows 75 miles to destination, I ball park 125 miles of range left and divide it by my efficiency (avg 2.0 on highway) so around 62 kWh. That's slightly less than half my battery so I'd guess around 45% when I arrive.

What I do is look at miles remaining, current SoC, and average MPK. I ignore the estimated range (DTE) because it’s just a guess.

I really don’t care what I have left when I get there as long it’s at least 10% or so.

In your example, I could look at my SoC (say 60%), which at 2.0 MPK is about 155 miles. So I’ll arrive at about 30%. But in reality, if I’m at 60% with 75 miles to the charger, I won’t even look at it because there’s plenty of margin.

This really needs a fix I feel. You should be able to quickly see what you will have for a SOC upon arrival, and some indication to what speed to drive to make it there.

I'd like to see the projected SOC's too on the built in NAV screen, until that happens!!

I plan my trip and take a couple of screenshots, or make a sticky note of the anticipated SOC for the route, then cross check that as I'm driving to charging waypoints

This is my route plan towing my 7x14 trailer with race bike and pit gear, to New England Dragway Epping NH and back, endpoints are not far from home base.

When I reach my projected up trip charging stop I evaluate the predicted vs real SOC and charge appropriately, padding when the projection has fallen short.

Repeat the same routine on the homebound trip.

If you have 6.3.0, the work around is to use Apple Maps. Apple Maps displays estimated SOC at arrival the entire time you’re driving. Seeing that information helps me build confidence in the system.

It would be nice if they bring that feature to androids / Google Maps
