Truck bed camera intermittent

The camera that views the Truck bed is intermittent. Seems every time I have something I want to keep an eye on after a Home Depot trip it doesnt work. I have turned it on now and again and its fine. When I brought the truck in for a recall on the parking sensors I brought the issue up. Of course the dealer said it was working fine anyone have this issue or is there an easy fix? Would this throw an error the OBD 2 reader would see?

Mine was replaced under warranty a summer or two ago. It was completely dead though. I haven't checked it in a while.

Some were failing to display in the heat. Is it hot where you are?

no, southern California and lately been in the 50s. at first, I thought if the tailgate was down the camera wouldn't work. The screen is just grey and doesn't display a fault.

OK, I'll bite: what bed camera and how do you access it? I did not know there was one.

There are multiple cameras: truck bed, trailer hitch , rear back up camera, 360', forward facing. I only seem to have an issue with the truck bed one. or I only notice that one when I need it isnt working.

OK, I'll bite: what bed camera and how do you access it? I did not know there was one.

Top left of the sync screen there is a camera button. Select that, then the icon that looks like a camera inside a box.

I have not read all the manual... yet (working on it). Found it in the manual and on the screen. Very nice.
