Hello,
I have a new to me 2023 Ford F150 Lightning Larait (ER)
With around 12k miles,
Picked it up last Monday as of yesterday it’s in the service of my local dealer,
Rewind to Monday-Friday
Purchased Monday Night,
Family Loved it, wife and tire kids,
My oldest daughter would request taking the Lighting over Moms, 23 Ford Expedition,
No issues Charging, Driving Fine,
Saturday Driving home heard a noise from the passenger rear end and sound like a bad brake or something on the wheel bearing pulled over brakes were cool to touch, so decided to drive it to dealer since it was less than 2 miles away , and wanted to beat to service rush on Monday morning,
On the drive there the noise would come and go depending on speed and one pedal drive setting, but never go away.
At the service center I Had my Wife’s Expedition there for a service trip, so just swap car seats and on my way,
Upon looking under the Lighting saw a puddle of liquid,
Service advisor had me turn on the truck and noise automatically came back,
I’ve seen previous forms of the liquid/coolant build up on the same area but none mentioning hearing a noise,
Trucks in service and under warranty so know it’s a good hands, but as The Lightning being my Dream Truck,
Had been searching high and low for a good deal,
It’s a setback to major journey with the truck,
Appreciate any information or feedback you anyone can give me,
I’ll be documenting updates as my service gives me update.
