Should I have an Independent Inspector inspect a 2022 used RVs if being purchased from a dealer ? Other than Manufacturers Warranty or an Extended Warranty do dealers offer anything else ?

I would not do either. Just bought ours and declined the Extended Warranty as well. The EW people have already mathematically calculated you will lose. I would say self insure unless you know you can not afford big replacements and that is only after the first yr. Once you surpass the first year, things that work will usually continue working. Too many horror stories of EW companies denying claims unless you call them first and follow every step they require. For example, water damage is never covered unless cause by another leak. So now you have to prove that and the adjuster will always find a way to dis credit your scenario.

As the owner of a travel trailer for the past 10 years, here's my thought when it comes to warranties on them:

YOU are the warranty.

What I mean by that is that if you are going to own a travel trailer/RV, you need to be able to fix a lot of it yourself (the exception being the engine and other mechanical parts of an RV that could be fixed at any auto shop). The reason is that a lot of things are going to break because of how cheaply they are made, and if you have to take it in every time something breaks, it will always be in the shop (especially since RV repair facilities are so overbooked these days). If you get an extended warranty, you may not have to pay for those repairs, but it's still always going to be in the shop.

So, IMO, if you are going to buy an RV/travel trailer, make sure you understand how things work and how to fix them (again, engine and other powertrain parts in an RV being the exception - I would recommend getting those inspected by an auto mechanic before purchase), and that you are prepared to spend time doing so.

Buying from any RV dealer, or auto dealer, for that matter, means that you are overpaying ... but, many will do this because the dealer can provide a financing outlet... it's much harder to do something similar when you are buying used from a person.

yes, YOU will be the DIY Handyman for ANY camper or RV you purchase - if you are not inclined, DON'T get ANY camper or RV of any sort - otherwise your 'travel days' will be with the unit sitting in a shop, not out 'camping', as you might have dreamed.

There are SO MANY campers and RVs listed on FB marketplace that it gives you PLENTY of local, or far away, options : but, you'll need to be your own INSPECTOR, as well, and know enough 'going in' to know what to look for.
I've bought no less than 3 campers on the marketplace, and sold two there, as well. Honestly, I've gotten MORE than I originally paid for them, believe it or not.
