Started in 1978 at one of their original locations. Moved away for 25 years, started again 18 years ago. 4 or so years ago, as the pandemic was finishing, they put new tires on my 2013 F-150. Dented one wheel with the sledge trying to free it up from the truck, scratched all 4 mounting the new tires. I got 4 new wheels from them.

Every time I go, I tell them to go slow, and take their time, I don't want damage. I also ask them to make sure they jack in the proper place. Got a nail in a tire, should have just plugged it. Today we had a small debate over jacking, got that resolved. Wheels had grease on them, I thought they were scratched, floor manager said "not, that will clean off".

Got home, washed them. Nope, not cleaned off. Guess they'll be buying me another wheel, at least these are available.

Why post this? To urge people to stay on top of your dealers and tire places, because damaging your vehicle is not ok. And push for the senior people to do the work, not the new guy. Even then, this can happen.

Edit - store called, new wheel ordered. They're scratching their heads trying to figure out how this could have happened.
