I have CarLinKit UHD and SYNC 4a and it is awesome. I run Car Scanner so I know exactly what my truck is doing at all times. Ford software sucks so bad I hated not knowing why it was behaving the way it was. Now I know why.

Could you share the PID values for that data? Or is there a place on the forums somebody has those posted? Thanks.

The PID values are all standard and available from the CarScanner app with paid version. There are some custom calculated PIDs like Horsepower, but that's just done easy by math like 1hp = .7457kW

Sorry for my ignorance here. Do you need anything ODB device to get that info you shared? And what app allows you to view that data on your dash screen? Does it require a carlink device? Thx
No biggie, no question is stupid, except for "why is my range shit when it's -temps outside",, LOL

Yes, CarScanner is an OBD app and does require a reader, the best one for wireless connectivity is the OBDLink MX+
https://www.obdlink.com/products/obdlink-mxp/

The CarLinKit box connects to it via bluetooth and one more thing, you definitely want to get the yearly AT&T mobile in-truck Wi-Fi service. It's way better than any mobile service b/c it has superior antennas on top of the truck. Your CarLinKit box will have service virtually everywhere.

One thing about these boxes,, all of them I have used to date, they run older versions of Android, like 13. The problem this creates is that some apps don't work well. Hulu and Peacock are the only 2 I've had issues with with CarLinKit. I keep asking them when they will come out with an OS upgrade to 14 and they keep telling me, not at this time? It's a weird company that is like 100% Chinese, LOL.

The more name brands that claim to be totally USA like Magic Box may be better in this regard, but they are over double the price :(. If money isn't an issue for you please get the MagicBox and report back to us. I will post the CarScanner dashboard to this thread tomorrow when I get back in my truck, but it's formatted for the Sync4A screen as you can see from the pic. I got it from a Sync4 owner and had to do a ton of work to re-format it.
