Would this piece need to be removed for an alignment?

Was driving and this plate fell off and started dragging. The screws were so loose I removed the last two by hand. I brought my truck in for a module replacement and the recall work at the dealership but then I went and got new tires and they did an alignment. I would like to know where to bring my complaints.

Alignment shop if they had to adjust something that was hidden by the rock shield.

Otherwise it might be due to the module service procedures

Thanks for the response. So pretty much I would have to “trust” whichever shop I bring it to first? Ugh I am feeling really distraught because I do not know and I had serious problems with the dealership so it could’ve been either of them.

What module was replaced? that might give you a place to start. If the module was in the front of the truck, then probably not the dealer!

What failed on your truck that needed a module service?

I just realized the shield is the rear motor guard, leaning toward your servicing dealership.
