XLT Upgrade: Install Rear Tailgate Light Bar (Lariat/Platinum)

Anyone every attempt to purchase and install an OEM rear tailgate light bar on an XLT or Pro? I would like to upgrade my XLT. I know they have had issues with condensation, etc. Anyone attempt an install? Thank you.

The whole tailgate is different. The light bar won't fit.

You would have to replace the whole tailgate and both tail lamps to have the stock tailgate light bar.

I'd look in junkyards first. I can't imagine the parts from Ford will be cheap.

And keep in mind, if you want a motorized tailgate and don't currently have one, you're looking at changing wiring harnesses out and FORSCAN changes.
