With an irony appreciated only by folks on this forum, my across-the-street neighbor’s house has for the past two days been the scene for a national commercial being shot by Ford, for the Lightning.
With maybe a dozen retail units in Austin, TX, what are they chances the filming would be across the street from a Lightning owner?
Anyway, over two days of filming something stood out: they were filming different scenes of the truck hitched to tow several different items, however all of which were small and “domestic” in nature - e.g., a tow-behind BBQ trailer, and an ~8” trailer with a riding lawnmower along with some potted bushes for planting. The theme seemed very “a truck good for doing domestic tasks.”
I was jealous of the slick dummy license plate
Finally, I thought it a little funny that the talent trailers were being juiced by these generators
