I want an optioned up XLT. Heated seats, surround view cameras, 9.6 kW capability are must-haves. Range is king is big battery is also a must. I have a Mach E and would much rather have the XLT screen and discrete controls than the 15” display. Would only step up to Lariat if the price premium actually makes sense once we see real price info.

For all the people who were clamoring for the Pro both here and on Reddit, you'd think it'd be in the lead.
It’s similar to all the threads you see about issues with a vehicle. Those types of threads are the most prolific but usually represent the minority. They are just the loudest and whiniest ?.

I’m also leaning Rivian even though I selected “Lariat”. I’m still waiting on official range and cost, but it’s not looking like the Lariat extended range is going to be cheaper than Rivian adventure package.

The 160K battery/motor warranty provided by Rivian is also appealing. With a May 22nd Lightning reservation, it’s likely Rivian will get to my order before Ford.

I wish I had ordered a Rivian a while back to have the same option you do. I can only imagine how long a Rivian would take at this point however.

The $1,000 deposit really put me off but in retrospect that probably would've been the better move. I've learned my lesson and will plan on mashing the refresh button for the Silverado reveal.

Yeah, giving Rivian an interest free loan of $1000 was less than appealing. It was the lack of details from Ford and the dealer experience that were the turnoffs for me and ultimately led to me making reservations with both. I like having options.

What makes you think your experience with Chevy and their dealers will be better than Ford?

I’ll get there earlier than day 3. That’s about it ?.

Oh I don't think it'll be any better, haha. I'm more or less trying to see which one I can get first. My Lightning reservation was over a week past the reveal so I'm solidly in MY '23/'24.

Still debating between Lariat Premium vs Platinum.

We need blue cruise , 9.6 KW Pro Power onboard and leather seats.

We really desire to have

The Multi-Contour Seat (Literally massage Seats) is extremely handy for those 300 plus miles long trips.

B & O unleashed is definitely one of the best stock stereo on the market

We don't need the 22 inch Rim, Tow Package or Max Trailer Package.

So Far we are going towards Lariat Premium (the 10k plus price hike from Lariat Premium to Plat is just not justifiable consider the return you are getting)

Also note that the survey here has 209 responses. That's only 0.1% of reservation holders. This isn't really representative of the general population.

I’m steering towards base lariat and hoping that they let us upgrade to the nicer B&O stereo, but not a deal breaker. I really hate bad stereos but don’t want to deal with going full custom anymore.

I understand that, but I thought it'd more closely represent the voices that seem to be the loudest on the forums. I guess the silent majority prefer Lariat.

I've not listened to either one so take this with a grain of salt, but everything I've read/watched says the B&O system in general isn't that great, and some claim the standard non-B&O system is better than Unleashed. So if I were you I'd hunt down ICE versions to compare for yourself.
