F150 Lightning Poll: which trim level are you going to order?

Assuming I get a Lightning (I’m leaning towards the Rivian) I’ll be getting the XLT with the extended range battery and whatever premium package it has. The Lariat’s content doesn’t bring me nearly enough value to justify it’s price.

The only way I get a Lariat is if Ford cuts the price. I want leather but I‘d just get some Katzkins installed. Those have better quality leather anyways.

I understand your logic about XLT vs Lariat. With our cold winters, once you’ve had heated seats and steering wheel, you can’t go back. I’ll have to wait for the ordering options at the dealer I‘m leaning Lariat.

From what we have seen, you can get the heated seats and steering wheel in the XLT, but need the Lariat for cooled seats.

I’m gonna order whatever they have available at the time I place my order, but, it will start out as the Pro, then XLT, then XLT plus and so on. I got the 2021 PB XLT for long runs and towing, I need a truck to hook up to my solar panels for daily driver.

Yup, heated seats are on the XLT. I'm in Colorado, so cooled seats really aren't needed. But I'd be all over that if I were still in Texas.

Yup, heated seats are on the XLT. I'm in Colorado, so cooled seats really aren't needed. But I'd be all over that if I were still in Texas.

If I was still living in Texas I’d want a cooled steering wheel too.

It does and I would say it's comparable. However, Katzkins are highly customizable with different types of leather. The Platinum also has those massage seats, which are awesome.

No more awful, butt burning, thigh sweltering, back sweating - hot leather.

I would love that - but it seems the options are XLT with heated cloth seats, or Lariat/Platinum with heated / ventilated leather seats. No ventilated cloth seat option.

With cabin pre-conditioning i wonder if you can leave the seat cooler on in hot weather and the pre-conditoning will cool it off before you get in

My frugal side is leaning Pro, strictly as the best bang for the buck.

My 40-year old body, getting achier by the day, is leaning towards the creature comforts of the Lariat.

I think it may come down to what's available quickest when my order wave comes up.

Yep - love watching this poll as well. Interesting to see Lariat now leading for most sought trim.
