I got bumped to the top for exactly the same thing! got my iced blue Pro ordered! lets goooo!

Nice! Yeah everyone thought I gave my dealer like $10k for being bumped up lol. Like bruh...haha. I'll probs be Wave 2-3, still deciding on Lariat SR vs Lariat ER anyways.

Been watching this forum for a few months, decided to make an account just now.

I reserved the night of the announcement but no idea how to tell what that means as far as priority at my dealership (Clermont Florida), nor did the dealership know hahaha.

Hoping for an ER Lariat. I was wary about spending that much money but my wife convinced me that I've earned it. Currently driving a 2012 Tundra with only 67k miles on it (drives me to the airport and back!).

Good luck to those of us still waiting for the GO button.

Same here BerTruck, I am going for the Lariat ER with every option I can get. Wife was very supportive - since 2005, I have been driving my 2004 Ford F-150 Lariat FX4. I am just about to cross over a quarter million miles on it.

I reserved my Lightning 5 days after the announcement and did not get an email today. It has been tough getting information from the dealership - last conversation was that they will call me tomorrow with my position number. Buying out of Georgia.

How did you place your order without an invite?

Sign in to ford, click my account top right, reservations. If your entry for your lightning has a button that says CONFIGURE, then go forth and doo eeeet. But that's only for people who are in Wave 1 but aren't getting pinged (I ordered but still haven't gotten the email)

Your reservation page on the Ford.com site will have an order link enabled once you are "invited". In a number of cases that has been occurring before the email invitation went out.

Saw this on reddit from someone who had just ordered. Disappointed to the see the priority list bumped us early reservation holders..

The Lightning order system is finely calibrated to achieve the maximum cumulative disappointment among early reservations.

I’m reservation 10816***, ordered within 5 minutes of reservations opening. Just found out I’m #11 out of 65 or so reservations at my dealership. Total BS. Waiting to hear back his I’m so low on the list.

Anyone know if I switch to another dealer if I lose my place in line?

Update: there appears to be no line with Ford. Will I be last on list at new dealership?

How did you place your order without an invite?

I refreshed my Ford account and it said it was time to order. I was number one at my dealer and was waiting on the email all day.
The admins were kind enough to post that the email should come after five. I had my Ford account open all day, as well as my email.
The order permission in the Ford account came an hour before the text.

You will keep your spot. But if the dealer opted to use their prioritization option then you are in the same position.

I got the popup earlier today about being able to order and nothing else maybe I was a mistake like my momma told me...

Ford better not be giving 1 to each dealer for wave 2 as well. 3000 trucks could be gone already since it seems ford has given 1 to them all. My dealer has 600+ reservations so hopefully will get a bunch in the next wave.

I would love it if Ford did at least one each wave for each dealership. But I am a bit biased sitting at number 5.
