It is scary that the Lightning I will order is higher priced than the 2018 Grand Sport Corvette I bought four years ago.

It's higher then the hybrid Plantium I ordered on Tuesday. Figures I would receive the invite today for the lightning. But I can't swallow the $25.6k price difference.

5/19 at 7:48 (Mountain time) reservation. I knew I wouldn't be in wave 3, (or 4, 5, or 6), but because I apparently like to be irritated by this process, I logged on to check anyway to really drive home the disappointment

Seems that my dealer's lack of communication about the order process was due to cluelessness and not deviousness.

Edit: I had actually given up hope about getting an invite this year and put in a deposit for an R1T on Tuesday. Correlation is not causation but I'm a little suspicious that the Rivian order let to my Lightning order invite.
