Ruge’s Ford in Rhinebeck, NY has no ADM. $175 doc fees…in writing.

I would recommend going to the dealer, request a buyer's order and both you and the dealer sign no ADM no Dealer Add ons.Man this thread scares me. Got a waive 3 order in yesterday. Star Ford in Glendale said they aren't charging ADM for factory orders. I do believe them, but they did have 5k listed over on Mach-E's in stock last time I was there. I guess I understand that as those aren't orders. They said (over phone) it's only doc and licencing fees extra on the Lightning order. In CA thats $80 doc, and licensing is set by state pricing. So there ~shouldn't~ be any surprises. But woah, still got me nervous.
How have you gone about trying to get a price in writing? In my case, I've already got the order in. It's going to be 6 months from now - feels like forever and I'm fearful a lot could change before then.
I think this is a case of repeating the 10% lie often enough that people believe it is true. It is more than 10% of dealerships charging ADM. Ford needs to prove me wrong by citing the stats and naming dealers who lost allocations. Ford's credibility is 10% -that I would believe..Has this been posted here yet?

Sorry I'm a dumbass some times. Leonardtown FordThen why keep it a secret? Who is the dealer?
Thank you. I do try.I believe NayNay works at Leonardtown Ford. She’s been active on the Bronco6G forum and from what I remember, has a good reputation over there.
Fact. If dealerships are doing an ADM on the lightning they will lose future allocations. If you're unhappy with your current dealership you should move your reservation to another dealer who you can feel comfortable with.Nobody seems to know for a fact what will/can happen with these dealers. I was waiting to see how this all shakes out after a few waves of dealer bullshit. But...I've resigned myself to the fact that until you actually are finalizing the purchase with the truck in the lot and sitting at the salesman's desk all bet's are off and you can't count on anything. I walk then and the ADM gets paid by the next guy . I just hope that Ford might maintain my reservation so I can start all over again. By then I'll have a decent chance of finding out how far the GM/Silverado guys are trying to bend people over !!
This just isn't as much fun as I was hoping for a toy I don't need.
NayNay, having insider knowledge, can you comment on best way to go about submitting order/obtaining purchase order agreement/preventing dealers from marking up or throwing in bogus add-ins AFTER the order is already submitted with the dealership? Seems like they’d be inclined to add bogus charges to deter you from following through with the order then they receive allocation and set it on their lot with $30K ADM for the next desperate chum to come and buy.Fact. This kind of thing really bothers me. My opinion being if a dealer is marking up just be up front. I don't see how hard this is. Ford said dealers that get caught marking up will lose future allocations. This is a really big deal. Also the name's must match too. If not, this will also cause a dealer to lose allocation too. It is always best to have a reliable point of contact at the dealership and keep your communication in writing with them. You can't prove a phone call. If you need to show up there to get your buyer's order then do it. You want it in writing and SIGNED by both the dealership and yourself with DATES. You'll want one that shows an OTD (out the door) or OTR (on the road) final number. If they don't want to give this to you then you want to move on. If you already placed an order you can have it shipped to a different dealership too. I'm not sure if you all know that. You all in here are the mass, and you all make an impact on how things get done. I've dealt with over 100 Bronco orders by myself at my store and have zero unhappy customers (that I'm aware of). While I'm no where near perfect at it, I remain honest and keep my group as informed as possible. When i screw up i tell them too. There's no reason your dealership shouldn't be doing the same thing. If I can assist in any way or help answer questions let me know.NayNay, having insider knowledge, can you comment on best way to go about submitting order/obtaining purchase order agreement/preventing dealers from marking up or throwing in bogus add-ins AFTER the order is already submitted with the dealership? How do you go about shipping it to a different dealer? I had not heard this after an order is placed and accepted by the dealer. Does that cancel out your agreement with the previous dealer? This kind of thing really bothers me. My opinion being if a dealer is marking up just be up front. I don't see how hard this is. For anyone who's had the dealer add surprise ADM, was that reflected in the order sheet when you placed the order online? I was seeing $2500 over MSRP with Wayne Ford (NJ) and I moved to Mahwah Ford (NJ) and now it shows MSRP online. I'm curious if anyone's seeing that get changed after the fact.
I don't have the actual process completely down. I can get more details on it Monday afternoon for you. I do know you can place an order, have it built, then have it shipped to another dealership for your delivery. How do you go about shipping it to a different dealer? I had not heard this after an order is placed and accepted by the dealer. Does that cancel out your agreement with the previous dealer?
Thanks!
If you can find out how to do this, it would be super helpful, in fact probably worth it’s own thread. I am among those in desperate need of having my order transferred to another dealer. If you already placed an order you can have it shipped to a different dealership too. I'm not sure if you all know that.
