There seems to be some controversy about whether you get it for 3 years free or only 1 year because you never paid for it up front. I still am confused about that.
'21 Job 1 trucks are getting a year free. '21 Job 2 and later have 3 years that were paid for with the truck as the BlueCruise package was $600 more on those vehicles, so they already paid for their subscription.

By time we get it, they'll owe us more than a year. I'm going to haunt the hell out of them for all the trouble we're going through. My time and effort means more to me than what they are offering. Several trips to the dealer to try fix it, our investment equipment like the Mongoose, software subscripts, etc. Yea, I know that was our choice but beings the dealer could not completely fix it with a new Apim and we took it upon ourselves to learn and do it ourselves, should mean something. I told their rep and ota dept. So we'll see. Enough people complain, maybe we'll get more than a year out of it.
BTW, the onboard mapping is outdated by at least 4 years, yet we are paying for it and they say they update it regularly. That's bs too and I proved it to them. They were speechless.

Latest update and date. In service date. EAP Yes/No

2.3.0 since 1/22/22. Job 1 delivered 2/5/21. No EAP (waitlisted)
2.3.0 here since 2/2/22, nothing since. Job 1. Delivered 7/28/21. Build date 7/7/21. No EAP (waitlisted)

I'm in the same group that you are in, no updates since late last year, this is what I got from Ford Yesterday and after I got the email I called to ask if the dealership had the the needed software updates for my truck and I was told "no, just wait, we'll let you know when"

Im pretty sure the person you talked to at the dealer has no idea what they are talking about since the update has been available for a while now. I think it was either 2.1.1 or 2.3.0 that fixed it and all of that is available to every ford dealer. At a minimum all of the stuff up to 2.5.1 is available to the dealer right now last I saw.

I didn't talk to the dealership, Ford OTA rep told me the dealerships can't do anything at their level right now

Update 2.5.1 which has most everything for bluecruise is going out now and there will be 2.5.2 in within the next couple of weeks with a gateway module update to fully enable it. It’s been the talk of the ecu/module programming thread for the past few days.
Not to rain on the parade but we don’t know when 2.5.2 will be released on FDRS. I’m sure Ford knows about us (and others) and realizes we’ll install it within hours of release. It’s obvious they are controlling a small subset of vehicles to test. It could be months or longer if they find a hiccup in the current test users.

Is 2.5.1 for only eap right now?? I assumed it’s was rolling out to everyone. Also I was mostly guessing/hoping as quarter 1 is over in a couple of weeks.

Who knows because my truck is still stuck on some failed update from months ago. I don't even have CarPlay directions in the cluster yet. I am shocked there is no class action on any of this to be honest

Told me same thing. They keep talking about the fix for 1.7.1 which was supposed to be released to the dealers last month and start getting the customers squared away this month.

Your dealer should be able to take care of that. My truck only recently got the 2.3.0 update that started rolling out in January on March 1. I am planing and getting the adapter and installing the blue cruise updates myself since I do t want to wait.
Can you point me in the direction on how to buy the adapter and do the update myself? I too am stuck on 2.3.0.

Your best bet is to get the mongoose plus adapter that is recommended there. Next you will need to get fords fdrs software installed on a laptop And get the 2 day license. This is a good time to try it as it seems the final update has been released for getting blue cruise going as of last night.

Went into the dealer with 2.3, waited two hours for them to update. They came back and said “sorry, there aren’t any updates to blue cruise yet.” I showed them the available releases on my phone, and they smiled and said “OK, we get it now! “Waited another hour and they proudly announced that they had updated it to the latest version. Climbed into my truck and… 2.3!

I both love and hate the future we live in. Cars that drive themselves are awesome, but having to wait for software patches on shit I already bought should be limited to my personal computer.
