Is it possible I some how screwed up installing the GWM update. I went into sessions from yesterday and all updates i did including Apim that was released after GWM are there but no GWM. Im not being offered anything in Bluecruise .It said there was a failure but it cleared from FDRS and theres no history of the install. Im now realizing if you dont do a network scan of the truck the session history does not save

Not while charging. Turn off everything and walk away. Just let the truck fully shut down and leave the charger to do its thing. Check your charger periodically. Once you are fully charged, yes, you’ll do most of the work in accessory mode with the accessories I mentioned off.
Looks like I may have a bad battery. The charger went into abort mode. After plugging the charger back in to check status, it says 11.6v at 10% charge (obviously estimated). FDRS wouldn't go higher than 12.1v.

That’s not good. Have you tried different positions with the negative alligator clamp to see if you could find a better ground? I haven’t had good luck with some of the alternative grounding points I’ve read in this thread and am now back to using the hold-down rod. I just rotate the alligator a little around the rod just below the nut until I get a small spark and it seems to work fine. Or at least well enough.

If you can, see if you can buy or borrow a battery tester to load test the battery. Since you have a Powerboost, you will have to disconnect the auxiliary battery if you need to remove the starter for further testing.

The good news is you found this out BEFORE you started to program. You’ll be glad you did.

For those of us in Canada that have done all the updates but not received their BC activation through the FordPass app or online all I can say is be patient. It took 48 hours for mine to kick off and I received this today!

Definitely got a little spark, but maybe I'll try the rod again.
Is there documentation on removing the battery on a PowerBoost? Was thinking about taking it out and over to an auto parts store to have it tested.

There is in the shop manual, but you don’t really need it. Raise the rear passenger-side seat cushion and you’ll see a plastic cover with four (?) hold down tabs. Remove the cover and you’ll see the battery. Remove the negative battery cable and then the positive. That will isolate the aux.

Thanks. Then I can pull the battery from under the hood like other vehicles?

Honestly, I have always done every update that ever populates FDRS as available.
Of course there are a few that even after applying them they are not removed, but it's easy to just work around those.

I did a APIM update couple of weeks ago did you have another pop up after this latest round? I seen a new GWM popup and was wondering if I need to look for another APIM also.
you’ll have another and I’d follow what Snake did. Might as well update everything

So after talking with the expert @Jesse-Infotainment I did a PMI on my GWM module. I selected that I installed a new module. Once complete Bluecruise is now available. Not sure what happened during initial GWM update but its all good it works GREAT!!
