Then using this number and projecting out to Build Week 6/13 (my week, my VIN 7933), using the earliest known retail VIN of about 2800 and a short Memorial Day Holiday week, they intend to ramp up production to the 500's by my week (assuming all the necessary parts are available). It will be interesting if some of you can post this #/# from the Mods as we all go through the process so we can watch whether production is on target.

Of course, some people are assuming that builds will be happening out of VIN sequence (more builds for mannequins 00001 - 02800). This would throw off my whole theory.

That's it. The order they should roll off the line.

It may not be that simple. The numerator is sequential but the denominator can be shared by multiple blend dates. To make things more confusing, a single blend date can have multiple denominators.

I didn't have much success interpreting window stickers but posted my observations here.

Production is not linear to the VIN sequence, note yesterdays first major shuffling of build weeks some pushed forward some pushed back. looking the sequence denominator increasing week by week will be a good sign that productivity is getting better and as you say resources are available to make that weeks planned work complete.

The number in the upper right XXX/XXXX is the build order on the assembly line for your blend date. Bmend dates can change or be pushed, but the first number is your position, second is how many are scheduled for that day. Mine is 162/428 for today (4/20) but if yesterday's batch was not built it may me tomorrow or the next day. No matter what, mine will be behind 161 and in front of 163 on the line. When our Bronco's were coming through I could see mine behind someone elses in the assembly line baby photos. My photo came later because it went to the mod shop for a roof rac safari bar that were not installed on the line. My baby photo didn't come until after I had taken delivery.

Each day has a different number of vehicles the line can produce. I have not really checked anyone elses blend dates, but being first phase they are most likely scheduling light for QC.

The date won't change on the sticker, the only way to know what blend/sequence they are currently on would be to have an insider. On the Bronco, we had forum members in the plant that kept us up to the minute. It was really cool. Mine was built two days after the printed blend date.

I know that somewhere on the forum there is an in-depth explanation of how the build process works but since the Lightning factory is new and sits next door to the battery assembly plant I wonder if someone might explain how a unit moves from start to finish, scheduling-blend-holding lot with time-outs to be sent off line for such things as bed liner, etc. There is a lot of confusion on what "Blend" really means.

I thought there were a few people with 4/11 build week. Just wondering if anyone has seen any progress.

Just emailed my Canadian Dealer and was informed I have a build date of 5/23 blend/build date of 5/25. Also provided VIN & dealer order #.
Did NOT receive any emails or other communication from Ford Canada

That's very cool, nice ride!

But I am not holding my breathe that FORD Canada will e-mail these pictures, as I have yet to receive anything specific in regards to my order.
