I'm glad that the line workers get a well-deserved opportunity to revel in their success, but I'm just a little disappointed that they paused assembly for the launch party .

This is 100% what a good PR team does (this is a compliment). Company representation, employee representation, genuine excitement in the audience...

The substantial UAW involvement is important for this to be a successful, "real" "legacy" manufacturer event (this is not intended to be a political statement).

Just saw Sandy Munro in the front row. Thought he only attended Tesla events, LOL.

It sounds like Sandy is a fan of this truck in general based on his videos. He also believes Ford is ahead of Tesla in a few areas, such as door panel construction in the Mach-E, and some of the Magna motor parts in the Mach-E.

At the end of the day, I think Sandy is an engineer first, and calls out crap when he sees it., Tesla or otherwise. (Though he is a little too much of a fanboy sometimes I will admit).
