Ford canceled my reservation.

I was looking weekly because every email I get from ford diverts to my junk/spam folder, something funky with my email service or Outlook365, so being paranoid about it I was always on the lookout.

But, seeing as you got the cancel email, that would not be an issue for you.....

I still think something is totally wrong about this situation, you should contact them to straighten it out if you are still interested in a Lightning!!

In addition, numerous people reported having seen a "ready to order" status change on their Ford.com acct BEFORE the email is sent out.(I thought someone said they saw it the day before the email finally came).

Have you been looking at your reservation record on FORD.COM since Jan 6th, and never seen a prompt to place an order?
No reason to be looking on Ford.com. Dealer said I was 35/25 and ā€˜23. Cancel email came through fine. Ford has you waiting a year and then cancels. No call, no email, no dealer call or email. Be interesting to see how much dealer marks up the ā€œfreeā€ sales. Follow the money.

Obviously Ford let you down, I got a text and an email, but....I can't believe you didn't check just in case on wave days. Or never once logged into your account, just because.

Iā€™m not sure the dealer is gaining anything from this. Their current year allocation is still 25 trucks and none of those were yours. Who knows what theyā€™ll get next year, or if all of those will be customer orders or not.

Nothing on Ford site says ā€œCheck weekly, daily, etc.ā€. Ford dealer said next year. Ford had no issues getting me a cancellation email. Same for dealer. Kia EV6 getting $5k-$10k over list. Iā€™m sure local dealer will have one available. Anyone without a reservation should be looking at dealers for opportunity sales. Fordā€™s handling it over to dealers vs following the reservation system prompted me to make Rivian reservation so a truck saver there.

That would totally piss me off. The only entity that should be able to touch your reservation is you. Have you tweeted to CEO Farley about that? That's seriously messed up!
Nobody messes with rervations except the person that puts it in..in the 1st place. Hell that's the only way a person's gonna get one of these for a long time.

Did you call Ford and see if it was a mistake? May be easily rectified.

If you put in the reservation and put $100 on it then you got a reservation number by email receipt. Same as me and all the rest of the 200k reservation holders. No one can cancel that but you. If they did, you got a legit reason to complain and tell ford about it and hopefully get it back. I would...that's for sure! We are all patiently waiting at this point...with reservation numbers in hand...not sure time stamps mean anything at this point, but definitely our res numbers to convert to orders when the time comes and are notified.

I donā€™t think thatā€™s exactly correct. I seem to remember something in the fine print about the reservation being cancellable by either party and the deposit fully refunded. I read it because I wanted to know for sure my deposit was refundable.

I work at a dealership in Canada.
Ford had a deadline for us to contact all of our reservation customers and convert their reservation into an order by April 29th. And we were told if they are not ordered, the reservation will be automatically cancelled by them. Your dealer did not do what they were supposed to do, contact you and order your truck by the deadline. Sorry

What about reservations that were not invited to be converted to an order? Or maybe you didnā€™t have any of those.
We were told to convert all of our orders by Ford. There were a few customers that did not respond / did want to cancel their orders. We cancelled the ones that wanted to cancel and the ones that did not respond we left them alone.
