This is worth watching, especially for anyone with Range Anxiety, and what might take place if your battery 'dying' ever actually happens - FORD Roadside Assistance is part of this, too... it's a nice little tutorial 'just in case' : ) whether for the MachE, or the LIGHTNING:

- continued driving past '0' miles of charge
- dying on the 'roadside'
- who you gonna 'call'
- how to get it back in Neutral, ready to be towed, or trailered/roll off'd
- where to 'find' the access to open doors if 'locked out', etc... emergency 'key' entry
- tow points
- how Ford Roadside assistance works

He never did give the actual mileage he got after he hit 0 range in the video. He responded to my comment and said it was about 10 miles after 0. That's not too bad of a buffer.

10 miles buffer is good enough.

If you watch the video, when he got down to just a couple miles left it automatically turned to air conditioner off.

At 12:30 in the video he shows where the energy had been used. 5% had gone to AC and 5% to accessories (90% driving). If you shut everything off presumably at 50 miles you might have gotten another 5 miles to driving vs the AC/accessories.
