$2000 California rebate listed - CVRP

I’m assuming now that the EPA figures were released the truck is NOW listed on the CVRP website. I’ve been checking for a while and it wasn’t there before.


The program caps large vehicles/trucks at $60,000 MSRP. I’m assuming they go off you purchase contract which is part of the application m.

That's why I selected the XLT SR, to take advantage of the Federal -$7,500 and CA State CVRP -$2,000 rebates.

It's going to be my daily commuter. Less than 100 miles per day for commuting to work. Plus (CAV) carpool HOV lane privileges when I get the stickers.

I optioned up the XLT SR as high as I could to under the $60k mark (Max Tow, Tow Tech, Step tailgate, 9.6 kW Pro power).

Oregon on the other hand goes of the base model price, not your sticker. The limit is $40k and the rebate is $2,500. Hope this holds up when I apply for the rebate on a Lariat.

Do you know if the MSRP limit includes destination? It does in NY so no Lightnings qualify.

For California's CVRP rebate, I'm fairly certain that does not include the destination charges for the MSRP totals.

Even with Dest, my Lightning is still below CA $60k limit.

Sorry, that $4K SCE rebate is for pre-owned EV which my wife was looking at buying a used EV from her relatives....

When I got my new PHEV 4 years ago, SCE was cutting $1000 checks which I got - nice offset the higher electricity bills...

Hey everyone,

I reached out to the CVRP program, and they confirmed that we still get the $2k even if our final MSRP is over $60k. They said:

"For Ford F-150 Lighting model year 2022, If the vehicle in on our list of eligible vehicles, it meets the MSRP cap and is eligible for the program (regardless of how many extra's you have added).

Please let us know if you have any questions.

When I wrote to them, I specifically said because of my trim package and upgrades, my MSRP was $80k.

Interesting that the site does say BASE MSRP...... I'm wondering if they consider trims upgrades to MSRP, that doesn't make sense though.
