I've seen the document that Ford put out that shows the truck dimensions, but it doesn't seem to have the measurement that I need.

Thanks!

Front of dashboard? You mean where the dash meets the windshield?

66.5” from the rearmost part of the touchscreen knob to the forward part of the seat back. Measured to enter armrest height. Caveat - rear seats are contoured.

That's more space than I was thinking it had. Thanks!

There would be more if the larger side of the 60/40 split rear seat folds down. The small side does, but I couldn't figure out the longer side - at least the latch isn't in the same place.

Also FYI the Lariat front seats (at least the passenger seat) go nearly flat.

For cargo reasons, I was considering completely removing the rear seats when I get one.

Nice to know about those front seats and how far they lay back. I couldn't imagine paying more even above Platinum prices for what they call the Lay Flat seats.

As far as the back seats laying forward - almost all do. I didn't know they had made it easier, but all of them through the 2010's did - but you had to had to get a wrench or a tool to slide down behind the seat and hook a peg sticking out to unlatch it with. It made for awesome storage that most never even knew you could get to.

Looks like it's tool-less, but a PITA. this is a ICE truck, but looks identical.

That is the perfect video and what I recall. The best way to get to that little button is to use a long wrench. Use the closed end or something like a crescent wrench, but use the end with the hole in it. Just reach down with the tool, put the end over that latch and pull up.

I was going to say, in my 2011 I put a big stereo setup behind the seats and needed access. I simply drilled a hole through the round metal bar and shaped some scrap rlectrical wire into a handle. It was free, easy, and you never saw the wire but it was an easy reach down to grab.

That being said these are cheap and totally going on the list for the truck!
